Committee Member Roles & Responsibilities

Basic Responsibilities:

• Attend one (1) monthly meeting, meetings can last from 1-2 hours
• Serve a two-year term
• Elect party leadership
• Help fill judiciary vacancies
• Choose Republican nominees in the state special elections
• Vote on matters brought to the committee, including party rules

What can you contribute as a member?

• Improve how the party is run
• Organize events in your area with your neighbors
• Get out the vote efforts and engaging voters
• Participate in the judicial election process
• Create chatter about issues you care about
• Get to know local elected officials better
• Support the campaign of the candidates for the office you support
• Connecting with like-minded residents and advocating for change within the party and with elected officials.
